Awareness Meditation Retreat
Meditation retreats are a life changing opportunity to deepen your meditation practice and enable life balance. Colettle Nkunda, Living Oneness will be teaching this practice in a workshop at the Brockagh Centre on Saturday the 1st of April from 10.30am to 1.30pm. An Evening of Tax
Come along and enjoy a light-hearted look at various tax reliefs, tax-planning opportunities, pitfalls etc. in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Thursday 9th of March from 7.30 to 9.30pm, FREE admission. A wide array of topics will be covered including medical expenses, passing on a business / farm during lifetime or by will, owning rental property, selling sites, young trained farmers and much more. The session will be presented by Mel Kilkenny and Stephen Loughran of LK Tax Ltd.
Basket-Making and Willow-Weaving Traditional Basket-making Workshop
This full day traditional basket-making workshop will teach you basic basketry techniques. It will be a relaxed learning environment and you will bring home your own completed handmade small round willow basket (a skib). The workshops will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre (9 am to 5 pm). Available dates are 25th March, 22nd April, 30th April and 6th May. Places are limited to five participants per workshop, so be sure to book as soon as possible. Garden Weaving Workshop
This is a full day weaving workshop where participants will learn to create a range of small willow projects for their garden and home in the Brockagh Centre on 1st of April from 9am to 5pm. The workshop will be relaxed and enjoyable with a focus on learning to weave willow forms and structures suitable for use in vegetable gardens, flower beds and homes. Places are limited to five participants per workshop, so be sure to book as soon as possible. Glendalough Car Boot Sales Take place on the first Sunday of the month except for January.(N.B car boot for March is on the 12th, March only!) Always great new and nearly new clothes and accessories, food items and much more. Vans must be booked in. Pilates at the Brockagh
Pilates will be starting on Monday the 30th January. Duration of the class is seven weeks and will start at 9.15am to 10.30am. Marie Noonan is a qualified Pilate’s teacher and has been teaching for the last 17 years and works full time as a movement therapist for rehabilitation, health and longevity. Walking group in the Brockagh
On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the walking group with Get Ireland Walking at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. We Love Art classes on Monday afternoons are for Primary school children. They are taught by artist and qualified art teacher Almha Roche. Classes are small, and divided by age group. Please view timetable below for classes times. In the classes we work with lots of different art and craft forms. Adult Art This painting class will help you to find your own artistic style in your preferred medium. It is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced painters. H.I.F.D (high intensity fitness dance) is an hour of dancing cardio workout to burn fat in a fun way on Wed evenings 7-8pm . Pay as You Go at €6 or €5 each night when you do two of his classes in Annamoe or Laragh in a week.
Evening Yoga with Viva Viva’s yoga classes for beginners to advanced every Wednesday evening at 7pm. Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night if needed. Call Viva on 086 3409629.
Wicklow Man(David Bury 087 272 3962) is on every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre at 10 p.m. for a few hours of dancing and socialising.
Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.

Citizen’s Information Clinic
C.I.C have now an office in the Brockagh Resource Centre on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 10-12 providing valuable personal advice relating to your rights and entitlements on a large range of matters. Happy Days Carer and Toddler drop in group is every Wednesday mornings from 10.30 -12pm at the Brockagh Centre(they take a break in July and August). We would like to invite people with babies and young child to come for a social morning for some play, chat and of course light refreshments. Morning Yoga with Louise
Louise’s yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 am. This is a gently-paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilizing the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle. The class begins with general and targeted warm-up sequences followed by postures (Asanas) and Vinyasa (breath-connected) sequences before final relaxation in Savasana. Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 am to 12.45 pm. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life. The class takes students through centering and breath-work, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement whilst seated or through use of the chair whilst standing. Tai Chi and QiGong
Tai Chi and QiGong classes are very powerful tools which help to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Badminton Junior and Seniors
Badminton classes are on Mon evenings in the Brockagh Centre at 7pm (Junior 4th class up) with Seniors from 8pm and on Thursday evenings with a repeat of the same classes. Classes for 2016 will end on Monday, Dec 19th and return Monday, Jan 9th.
Drama classes are a fantastic way of developing confidence and encouraging creativity and imagination. Drama modules will incorporate improvisation, mime, script work, vocal training and acting skills.
Students will also learn from the Irish Board of Speech and Drama syllabus and be afforded opportunities to take graded examinations under a fully qualified teacher. Elevation holds a 100% pass rate in IBSD examinations. Elevation Drama Junior (5.45-6.45pm) is held at the Brockagh Centre. Contact Kate on 086 8256775.
Elevation Dance School
Classes are even bigger and better this year with a huge opportunity for all of our students at Christmas. NFA Productions are producing a travelling Christmas Panto which will be coming to the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on Dec 17th and 18th.
