Roundwood Variety Group Panto

Congratulations to all the cast, behind the scenes volunteers, directors, committee, production engineers, musicians etc., for bringing the community and surrounding areas another very entertaining production. Every year the group comes together and knocks our socks off with their tremendously talented performers. Well done all!


Mobile Library-next date Feb 15th & 29th

A mobile comes to Laragh every second Thursday from 12.15 to 12.50pm and parks at the back of Lynhams Hotel. Phone on 087 9135229 or email library@wicklowcoco.ie

For people who have difficulty accessing their nearest public library, the Mobile Library Service gives them the opportunity to avail of a public library facility. The mobile library carries approximately 2,500 items with free access to many online resources including downloadable audio books, newspapers and more.   


AUsome Kids Club-Wicklow Library(free event)

A weekly Kids Club for autistic & neurodivergent kids aged 4+, hosted by Wicklow Library. See the Ausome Kids Facebook page for details on Saturday February 17th, 10am to 11.30am.


Yoga with Louise

Vinyasa Krama Yoga (step-by-step). Classes are from 10am to 11.20 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.

The practice will provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life.  Louise takes students through Asana, Pranayama and Meditation for a full Yoga practice.

Chair Yoga

Classes are from 11.30am to 12.30 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.

Chair Yoga is suitable for those who find a regular yoga class too strenuous, are recovering from injury or illness or are generally less active and mobile.  Louise's classes include physical poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation and meditation.  There is some standing work which is optional and done next to the chair.

Active Retirement

The group are back after their Christmas break Tuesday 13th February (Pancake Day).  The group meets every Tuesday 10.45am – 12pm at the Brockagh Centre.  So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa, some light exercise, dancing and music come along on a Tuesday morning. We’d like to encourage anyone who loves arts & crafts or any other hobby, maybe you’ve learned new skills and would like the space to practice and share your skills with other members, come along and join us. We always welcome new members to join our group.

Annette Burke Occupational Therapist will be giving an informative session for people with dementia and other memory issues and their families, at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday 12th March at 11am. She will be giving advice and information on memory, brain health and practical ways to help memory. Tea/Coffee afterwards, all are welcome.

The committee will be busy organising the weekly schedule, trips and workshops for over the coming months. If anyone would like to join, offer their services or share their skills with the group please contact the centre. Laragh Badminton Club 

Badminton classes are in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh with  Monday evenings: Adults 7.30-9.30pm. Thursdays Evenings: Juniors 4th class beginners 6-7pm, 5-6th class & 1st year secondary school 7-8pm, Teenagers 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year Secondary School Classes 8-9pm. We have a mixture of Hot Desks, Dedicated (Weekly/Monthly) Desks, Pod and Meeting rooms available with High Speed Broadband Connection. Our shared working space is located in the the heart of county Wicklow with panoramic views of the stunning Glendalough Valley. Free parking, free tea/coffee facilities and lift access. To avail of the discounted rates you must pre-book your desk through brockaghhub@gmail.com only. Daily Rate €15, half day rate €10, weekly rate €60, monthly rate €199. We also have a special student rate of €10 day rate or half day rate €5. Register now as a Member on our connectedhubs.ie site.. We are waiting to see if they are renewing the voucher scheme.
