Brockagh Country Market & Car Boot Sale – Sunday 12th July
Come along to the Brockagh Country Market & Car Boot Sale in Laragh (A98 D3H1) and discover fantastic bargains, unique handmade crafts, and locally produced goods! Browse a wide variety of stalls offering everything from gifts and handmade crafts, clothing, antiques, tools, plants and household items.
Whether you're searching for a bargain, looking for a special gift, or simply enjoying a Sunday browse, there's something for everyone. Market opening hours are from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Take a break and enjoy a tasty hot dog or burger for lunch, followed by a delicious homemade dessert from our regular baker, served with tea or coffee.
Stallholder Information: Indoor space: €17 (table included), outdoor space: €15 (please bring your own table). The entrance barrier is locked from 6:00pm on Saturday until 8:00am on Sunday. Wicklow Mountains National Park Summer Lectures
Our Summer Lectures 2026 kick off on Thursday 2nd July with a talk on Harvestmen by Brian Murray. Brian is a Blessington-based distinguished entomologist, with a wide knowledge of many invertebrate groups, including a deep knowledge of harvestmen. He recently discovered a species of harvestman, new to Ireland.
Brian is the founder of the microWild project (www.microwild.org), a native wildflower meadow and invertebrate reserve in Blessington, Wicklow. You can follow him on Twitter/X @BeesOfIreland (Bees & Wasps of Ireland). It is in Glenn of Imaal Mountain Rescue Base, Laragh, Co. Wicklow A98VY72 at 7:30 pm, Thursday 2nd July. There will be a series of lectures every Thursday from 2nd July to 20th August, at 7:30pm all free of charge.
Elevation Summer Camp
Elevation Cheer and Tumble Summer Camp is back in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh A98 D3H1 from July 13th to 17th. Tiny and Mini(Beg) 10-1pm, Youth/JR/SNR 10-2pm.

Music in the Forest 2026... an Ancient Music Festival in Dorlindon Forest
This summer, experience a celebration of Ancient Music in one of Ireland’s most enchanting natural settings with several music dates to choose from. Hosted at Dorlindon Nature Sanctuary, this open-air festival brings together live performances of Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music, performed in a mythical forest environment rich with beauty, stillness, and atmosphere. A unique blend of sounds from across the ages, including Irish Classical and traditional influences. Performances are from 3pm to 5pm in a natural forest amphitheatre. Walking group in the Brockagh
Join the Laragh Walking Group every Monday morning at 10.00am for a friendly one-hour walk around the beautiful Glendalough area. The group meets at the Brockagh Resource Centre and welcomes walkers of all abilities. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and have a chat along the way. There is no fee to take part, no booking is required, simply come along on the day.
Laragh Memory Café -Friday 10th July
OPW Guides Aodán and Val were delighted to deliver a presentation to the Laragh Memory Café in the Brockagh Resource Centre on the 12th of June. A huge thank you to all the organisers and participants for making our Guides welcome. We hope you can join us on the 10th of July for another gathering with tea, cake and chat.

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night. All are welcome to come along.
