Candlelight Choir Night
St. Kevin’s Choir Laragh invites you to Carols by Candlelight, Wed 17th of December at 7.30pm with refreshments to follow. There will be a collection towards upkeep of the church on the night.
Vinyasa Krama Yoga (step-by-step). Classes are from 10am to 11.20 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.
The practice will provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life. Louise takes students through Asana, Pranayama and Meditation for a full Yoga practice.

Chair Yoga is suitable for those who find a regular yoga class too strenuous, are recovering from injury or illness or are generally less active and mobile. Louise's classes include physical poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation and meditation. There is some standing work which is optional and done next to the chair.

Brockagh Country Market & Car Boot Sale- Sun Dec 14th
It’s time for the last Brockagh Market/Carboot in Laragh (A98 D3H1) for 2025!! Plenty of Christmas cheer and bargains at this once monthly event! Open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Enjoy our affordable Hot Dogs and Burgers as a family lunch treat, and some baked goodies from our resident baker!

News for Wicklow & Kildare Local Link!
The NTA has announced major upgrades to local bus services starting 4th of December.
Route 183 will now run Arklow–Glendalough with stops in Avoca, Rathdrum, Rathnew, Wicklow, Roundwood & Laragh.
Service frequency almost doubles — 7–8 trips daily, 7 days a week.
New redesigned Wicklow town service and improved connections, including a morning link to Arklow.
A brand-new Route 895 will connect Glendalough–Sallins via Blessington, with 4 return trips daily and timed connections with Route 183 for smooth onward travel.
Passenger demand on the 183 has surged to 55,000+ journeys this year, showing strong support for improved rural transport.

Piano Meditation Sound Bath
Join us for a relaxing piano sound bath and guided meditation in the beautiful surrounds of Glenmalure valley, Co. Wicklow. Sunday December 14th 2.00pm - 3.15pm (1h 15m). Led by composer, pianist, and RYT Yoga instructor Danny Forde. Recommended fee €15 or pay what you can. Payment is by cash or card at the event. Location: Bosca Beatha, Glenmalure, Co. Wicklow. (opposite Glenmalure Lodge). Please note that access to the event location is a short walk on foot through a field. Parking is free at the Glenmalure Lodge car park.

‘BRIGHT STARS’
Parent and toddler group meet at The Brockagh Centre every Wednesday, 10:30-12:00; our weekly fee is €5.50 which includes tea/coffee/biscuit and refreshments for the children. This activity provides a welcoming and lively space for parents and children to meet and grow together. Our activities include play, music, games, snack, tidy-up which will allow both you as the parent/guardian and your child to meet friends, explore new things and learn.
The group provides a weekly get-together where you can meet with others who understand exactly where you are at this point of parenthood.
The group also provides a great opportunity to see developmental milestones in action and support to feel more confident in a parenting role.Call us on 0404 45600 if you have any questions about the group.
