Welcome to The Brockagh Resource Centre
Purpose built community centre and venue in Glendalough.
Brockagh Resource Centre is a modern, multi-purpose resource centre conveniently located at the heart of County Wicklow. The centre is exactly one hour’s drive from Dublin city and the surrounding counties of Wexford, Carlow, Laois and Kildare. Its stunning location and comfortable facilities make it a popular choice of venue for concerts, theatre performances and conferences.
Well done to the Glendalough & District Development Association and the community of Laragh & Glendalough as we came runner up in our population category in the Pride of Place Awards, the finals of which took place in Trim in County Meath over the weekend.This is the eighth year of the Pride of Place Competition.The GDD&A was nominated by Wicklow County Council for the all Ireland Pride of Place competition in recognition of its work in the local area and the establishment of the Brockagh Resource Centre.

The next Car Boot Sale will take place on Sunday 5th May from 11 a.m until 4 p.m. Car parking is free but vans must be booked in. This year we are taking bookings for prepaid spaces inside. Car Boot Sales take place on the first Sunday of the month. Contact the Brockagh Centre on 0404-45600 or email Janette at laraghit@eircom.net.
The Glendalough Country Market & Gift Fair takes place on Sunday 12th May from 11 am until 4 pm. There will be home baking, novelty items, etc. For further details call Michelle on 0404-45600.
The annual ‘Doggies Day Out’ will take place this year on Sunday May 12th at 2.30 pm (registration from 1.30 pm). The show this year is in aid of the Irish Guide Dogs Association. There will be lots of fun categories including Best Large Dog, Best Small Dog, Fancy Dress, etc. Expert pet advice will also be available. If you would like to donate a prize or make a personal donation please contact Michelle at 0404-45600.
Main Hall
The large main hall with its superb stage has a seating capacity of 250. Apart from theatrical presentations, it is also used for workshops, conferences, functions, indoor sports and live music.

Green Room
The green room is a bright, relaxing room overlooking the beautiful mountains of Glendalough. This room is ideal for yoga, workshops, conferences and meetings. The beautiful view will help you unwind and create the atmosphere you require.
Small Meeting Room
A small meeting room or office adjoining the main hall can accommodate groups of up to 12 people.
Catering:
The Brockagh Resource Centre uses an excellent local catering company to facilitate the needs of its clients which includes home-baking and locally sourced food. The on-site kitchen has comfortable tea and coffee making facilities and also allows workshop participants to cater for themselves.
The villages of Laragh and Glendalough offer a range of superior meal options for individuals and groups; many are within easy walking distance of the centre.

Laragh and Glendalough and the surrounding areas offer a range of accommodation options to suit every taste and budget, from hotels near the Centre to hideaways in the scenic hills and mountains.

Rates for room hire, catering and multi-media facilities are available on request. There is on-site parking for 80 cars and 6 coaches.

The Brockagh Centre, under the management of the Glendalough and District Development Association, was shorlisted for a substantial grant from the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund.
