Woodland Walk & Talk
Introducing 'Friday at Brockagh'
We're exploring a new Friday morning get-together at Brockagh Resource Centre, a welcoming space to meet others, enjoy a cuppa and take part in a variety of community activities.

Future mornings could include crafts, talks, demonstrations and other shared activities, and we'd love the local community to help shape what #FridayAtBrockagh might become.
For our first morning, held as part of #NationalWalkingWeek2026 with Get Ireland Walking, join us for a free guided Woodland Walk & Talk through the leafy trails of Brockagh Woods, with time to enjoy the sights, sounds and stories of the woodland. Would you like to walk more but feel unsure about joining a walking group or heading out alone? Perhaps you haven't walked for a while and would simply enjoy some friendly company. This relaxed 3km walk will be taken at a comfortable pace, with shorter options available if needed.
No specialist walking gear is required - just comfortable clothes, a waterproof coat and trainers or walking shoes with a good grip. Please bring some water. Afterwards, join us at Brockagh Resource Centre to relax and chat over tea, coffee and delicious fresh scones for only €5. You're also welcome to join us afterwards without taking part in the walk. This event is on Friday 25th September at 10.30am in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh, Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, A98 D3H1. Guided walk: FREE. Tea, coffee and fresh scones afterwards: €5. Booking is essential for the walk as places are limited, so drop us an email or give us a ring to book (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm):0404 45600, brockaghoffice@gmail.com. Come along for our first 'Friday at Brockagh' and help us develop more Friday mornings for our local community.
