Elevation Summer Camp
Elevation Cheer and Tumble Summer Camp is back in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh A98 D3H1 from July 13th to 17th. Tiny and Mini(Beg) 10-1pm, Youth/JR/SNR 10-2pm. Iora Rua Forest School
Summer Camps for 8-11 year olds: 14th-16th of July, 21st-23rd of July from 10am-1pm. Activities include games, songs, nature crafts and outdoor fun at Knockraheen Lane A98 HN24. Contact Rita(Forest School Leader and primary school teacher) phone no. 0868 074 2496.
Mobile Library
NEXT DATE: Thurs June 25th. A mobile comes to Laragh every second Thursday from 12.15 to 12.50pm and parks at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh, A98 D3H1. Go to www.wicklow.ie or contact staff on (087) 9135229.

Yoga with Louise
Vinyasa Krama Yoga (step-by-step). Classes are from 10am to 11.20 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.
The practice will provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life. Louise takes students through Asana, Pranayama and Meditation for a full Yoga practice.

Chair Yoga
Classes are from 11.30am to 12.30 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.
Chair Yoga is suitable for those who find a regular yoga class too strenuous, are recovering from injury or illness or are generally less active and mobile. Louise's classes include physical poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation and meditation. There is some standing work which is optional and done next to the chair.

Summer Tea Dance
Laragh and Glendalough Active Retirement Group are having a Spring Tea Dance which will be held on Sunday 28th of June from 3pm to 6pm in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh A98 D3H1. Entry fee €10 with parking. Bring your dancing shoes and enjoy the afternoon with Music by the Wicklow Man. All groups must be booked in by contracting Laragh Active Retired group at laraghandglendaloughara@gmail.com.

Lidl Store Coming to Rathdrum
We have all heard that Lidl may be coming to Rathdrum Business Park by now. The Irish Independent reported on 11 Jun 2026 that Wicklow County Council had signed a lease to allow a Lidl store in Rathdrum. Having this amenity close to the Laragh & Glendalough area will be welcomed by residents.
Roundwood Agricultural Show
Save the date: On the 2nd of August with show classes, trade stands, vintage vehicles, kid’s corner, games, competitions, races, tug of war, pet’s corner, dog show and mega raffle. The show begins at 1pm at An Tochar GAA Grounds.
Eco Waste Disposal Wicklow
Did you know at The Murrough Eco Park, they offer a wide range of services to manage and dispose of waste in an ethical and environmentally-friendly manner. They accept items such as green waste, mattresses/sofas, plastics, wood, stone, soil and stone etc. Check it out https://murroughecopark.ie/.
For your local disposal of clothes/bottles/cans the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh has a clothes bank and bottle/can bank to the rear of the building.
There is also a community compost area at the back of the village green houses across from Lynhams Hotel close to the zebra crossing side.
