Lap of the Gap
Well done to all the participants in last Saturday’s Lap of the Gap. All the organisers and volunteers did such a fantastic job! So many people from all over Ireland and other countries compete in this event. The weather was beautiful, everyone was in great spirits and delighted to be treated with refreshments in the Brockagh Resource Centre.
The Glendalough Lap of the Gap Marathon / Glen to Glen Half-marathon was created in 2016 and is a road race with all the benefits of a trail run: beautiful scenery and the opportunity to run against a challenging and memorable course. All in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park in aid of local club Glendalough AC.

Pick one of the routes and then contact the group leader who will confirm the details on the route’s length, starting time, location or by joining en route for shorter options. Each person will walk all or part of their chosen route finishing with a ‘gathering’ of walkers sharing refreshments at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh A98 D3H1 around 2pm. Laragh and Glendalough Tidy Towns News
We were delighted to present Cluain Ban Residents Association with funds to continue their terrific gardening and maintenance work on their estate. They deserve to be very proud of all the work they have done.

A presentation will take place this week to Beechwood, Mountain View and Brockagh neighbourhood. These presentations are made possible by recent donations from film companies, local people and our Christmas raffle. It is a joy for the LGTT committee to be in a position to share and reinvest in our wonderful community.
Volunteers will be out this week planting and weeding in the village creating a colourful greeting to all our visitors. Thank you all for your support and ongoing work.
