LAST CHANCE to Scrap your Metal-Laragh
Get rid of your scrap at the Brockagh Resource Centre on 26th, 27th and 28th of September, 2025. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE SCRAP BEFORE OR AFTER THESE DATES! Some of the items you can bring are biscuit tins, steel oil tanks, steel window frames, steel coal bunkers, car batteries, radiators, solid fuel cookers, sheep wire, bicycles, old cars without the tyres, steel wheelbarrows, golf irons, etc. STRICTLY No fridges, freezers, cookers, timber, plastics or tyres! Please do not remove scrap or metal from the premises. CAMERA IN OPERATION!

Bright Stars with Moo Music
Make sure you don't miss the next very popular MOO MUSIC event! On Wed October 4th at 10.30am in the Brockagh Resource Centre at our Baby and Toddler Group!!!
Our weekly connection is for some parents, grandparents and carers, the weekly catch-up and opportunity for children to play and make new friends is enough. For others, the support makes them that bit more confident in their parenting role. Cost €5.50 per family, on 10.30 each week. Call us on 0404 45600 if you have any questions about the group.
New Memory Cafe in Laragh
A free monthly event for people living with dementia/memory problems, family carers, friends and healthcare professionals to connect, socialise and source info. Walking group in the Brockagh
On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around the Glendalough area for approximately one hour. This is a great way to meet and chat with others and with no fee involved. No need to book, just show up on the day.

Laragh Christmas lights are having a fundraiser on the 17th of October 2025 with a competitively friendly Table Quiz. The big Christmas Switch On will be held on the 22nd of November this year beginning yet again much festive cheer to the village of Laragh.
AA Meetings (Ongoing)
Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night. All are welcome to come along.

Roundwood Variety Group Workshops Begin!
We’re thrilled to announce that workshops kick off on Tuesday, 30th September in Roundwood Parish Hall!
Kids Chorus (ages 8 – 6th class) from 7:00 – 8:00pm. Children must be 8 years old on or before 30th September to join. Adults & Teens (from 1st year up) from 8:00 – 9:30pm.
Whether you’re a returning member or brand new, everyone is warmly welcome to come along, make friends, and enjoy the magic of music and performance!
