Laragh & Glendalough Tidy Towns
We have had many recent developments in Laragh this month.
LGTT have now secured a shed to hold equipment for maintenance work around the area. Mike is doing a wonderful job keeping the place in ship shape along with Pat.
The pathway by Laragh houses has not been upgraded since 1963 and last week it was restored by Wicklow County Council through Martin Stacey & Son company. It looks fantastic, well done!
Thanks to local tree surgeon, David Holden who addressed the very large invasive tree grown by the Laragh Bridge.
Some members of LGTT chatted on Liveline, Radio One and Eastcoast Radio about 30 bags of domestic rubbish dumped in the Avonmore River at Ballard Bridge. Pure Project & local volunteers helped clear the rubbish. Investigations are underway.
If you want to get in touch email us at laraghglendaloughtt@gmail.com.
