Laragh & Glendalough Tidy Towns

Phase 3 of our native tree planting with ReWild Wicklow and Wicklow Mountains National Park  is complete at the Wicklow Gap, Glendalough junction. A fenced enclosure to prevent deer damaging the trees was erected and planted with a variety of native trees. A further 30 trees were planted in cages outside the enclosure. We are very grateful to all the volunteers and especially to our youth Pure Mile ambassadors Eanna and Huidai.

LGTT volunteers were out gardening last week around the area along with our CE worker, Niall. A great effort by all in the village and we can see the work coming to bloom now in Spring.

Our next community litter picking morning will be on Saturday 11th of April from 10-11am. Please come along and help to tidy up after the Easter weekend.
