New Local Link Starting from Glendalough to Bray
The community will be delighted to learn that the new Local Link from Glendalough to Bray is due to commence in September.
Scrap Collection Laragh
Get rid of your scrap at the Brockagh Resource Centre on 26th, 27th and 28th of September, 2025. Some of the items you can bring are biscuit tins, steel oil tanks, steel window frames, steel coal bunkers, car batteries, radiators, solid fuel cookers, sheep wire, bicycles, old cars without the tyres, steel wheelbarrows, golf irons, etc. STRICTLY No fridges, freezers, cookers, timber, plastics or tyres! Please do not remove scrap or metal from the premises. CAMERA IN OPERATION!

Active Retirement Laragh
On the 26th of August the AR committee is having a meeting at 10am, the rest of the AR group will meet at 10:45 to arrange and discuss their trip to Croke Park for a GAA Tour on Sept 9th. There will be a gathering in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Sept 16th with music followed by lunch in the Wicklow Heather Laragh.
The active retirement group meets every Tuesday morning from 10.45am – 12.15pm in the Brockagh Centre(with breaks throughout the year). They enjoy meeting for a chat with refreshments and light exercise each week. Workshops, daytrips and monthly lunches are throughout the year. On 14th of October lunch will be held in the Woodenbridge Hotel.

Funding for Outdoor Recreation
Funding of €306,750 for outdoor projects in Wicklow has been announced. This funding is being provided as part of the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS). Among other projects around Co.Wicklow is Brockagh Forest science & discovery area €40,000 and Wicklow Way signage improvements €36,450. Laragh Christmas Lights
Our AGM will be held in Lynhams of Laragh at 8.15pm on Thursday, 11th of September. Come along and join us to hear about last year’s success. Share ideas for this year's display.
Walking group in the Brockagh
On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around the Glendalough area for approximately one hour. This is a great way to meet and chat with others and with no fee involved. No need to book, just show up on the day, meet in the car park
Elevation School of Performing Arts
Classes available at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on Mondays 4.15 Acro Squad, 5pm Arco L2, 6.30pm Adv Tumbling/Squad Dance. On Wednesdays 2.45pm Tiny Acro/Dance/Mini Acro, 3.30pm Youth Cheer/Dance, 4.30pm Cheer Team: Lucky Stars, 5pm Gr ¾ Mod, 6pm Snr Mod (2hrs), 7pm Zumba(45mins). Saturdays are 9am Technique Team & Squad.

Pilates Classes in Laragh
